Vážka is a unique back system, developed on the basis of years of experience by Mrs Zdeňka Faltýnková, the specialist in a healthy wheelchair sitting. The product was designed by studio Zdravý design for the Czech manufacturer Kury.
The design of the product combines technical articulation details, allowing a number of variations adjustments of two independent back parts according to the curve of user’ s spine, elegant shapes, lightweight and breathability of special anti-decubitus 3D mesh.
The first prototype of this unique backrest was presented live on Designblok 2017 – Prague international design show, where it met with first positive reactions, especially from wheelchair users.
The product is now being developed by studio Zdravý design itself to move it closer to first customers.
